Security/First Aid


Admission - 

Tickets are available online.  All tickets must be brought to the Main Entrance and exchanged for NY Country Jam wristbands.  Wristbands are required for entry into the concert area and must be worn at all times.  

We will not replace lost or damaged wristbands.

Concessions -

There will be concession stands offering beer (you must be 21 to purchase beer.  Please have picture ID ready), soda, water and food.

Exiting -

Anyone wishing to leave may do so at any time although you will be asked to surrender your wristband upon exit.  Please note that the exception is for campers who posess a valid NY Country Jam campground wristband.  State law prohibits anyone from leaving the concert area with opened alcohol containers.  Please discard them in the trash cans before leaving.

Food & Beverages - 

There will be a variety of foods and beverages at the concession stands.  Coolers or outside food or beverages will not be allowed in the concert area.  

General Rules - 

We ask that everyone follow the rules which are designed for your saftey.  Rules and regulations will be strictly enforced to ensure that everyone's experience at the NY Country Jam will be enjoyable.

All local, state, and federal laws must be obeyed.  Anyone found in violation of any law or regulation will be evicted from the event without refund of ticket and may be subject to prosecution.

No one under the age of 21 is allowed to consume any alcoholic beverages while at the NY Country Jam grounds.  Please have picture ID ready.  Providing alcohol to minors is prohibited.  Use of illegal drugs, drunken and/or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated.  NY Country Jam supports the Designated Driver concept and urge attendees to decide in advance who will be your group's designated driver.  Please - do not Drink & Drive.

All persons attending the NY Country Jam do so at their own risk.  Management accepts no responsibilty for lost or stolen items.  No liability is assumed by promoters, managers, sponsors, Empire Expo Center, Onondaga County, New York State or others.

Unauthorized sales of merchandise or services at the NY Country Jam is prohibited.  Anyone caught engaging is such activity will be evicted and prosecuted.

Do not trespass, park illegally or litter.  Please keep the concert area litter free and place trash in the provided trash receptacles.  Be considerate of  those around you.

Video cameras and audio recorders are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated.  Confiscated items will not be returned to the owner or operator.

Handicapped Access -

NY Country Jam makes every attempt to be handicapped accessible.  Enter at the main entrance unless otherwise directed by NY Country Jam staff.  Handicapped parking is available for those vehicles displaying the handicap emblem on their license plate or windshield.

As the event is festival style seating, we have space behind the reserved VIP section set aside for  ticket holders with wheelchairs.  Handicap port-a-johns are located at each of the port-a-john areas and restrooms.

Hotel -

For those of you who do not want to camp - The Best Western Plus (315) 437-2761, located at 6555 Old Collamer Rd., East Syracuse, NY 13057 and Candlewood Suites (315) 432-1684, located at 6550 Baptist Way, East Syracuse, NY 13057 is offering a great Stay & Play package to NY Country Jam attendees.  Reservations cannot be made online. Call either hotel early to reserve your room before they're gone! 

Hours -

Friday - Gates open at 2:00PM and music starts at 4:00PM
Saturday - Gates open at 10:00AM and music starts at 12:00PM
Sunday - Gates open at 10:00AM and music starts at 12:00PM

Parking -  

All concert parking (handicapped included) is $10 and subject to change without notice.  There is no free re-entry.  All re-entry will be subject to the entrance fee.  

Pets -

All pets are prohibited on NY Country Jam grounds.

Seating -

We offer VIP assigned seating, the rest is general admission and is festival style.  You may bring a lawn chair or blanket.  Coolers are not allowed in the concert area.  Shade umbrellas, canopies or any other obstruction limiting the views of spectators will not be permitted in the concert area.  Please be considerate of those around you.

Security/First Aid -

Security personnel will be on duty around the clock thoughout the grounds for the event.  Should you see any situation requiring attention, please bring it to the attention of security or NY Country Jam personnel.

First Aid will be available inside the Main Gate of the concert area to handle minor injuries and accidents.  In the event of a problem locate NY Country Jam security or event staff personnel, they will have radios to contact medical staff to assist you or in case of emergency call 911.

Weather -

Although July is usually very sunny and hot;  this is central New York.  Please be prepared for any type of weather.  This is a rain or shine event and the show will go on if at all possible.  If the conditions were to deteriorate to the point that the public's safety were at risk, the show may be delayed or cancelled. We will be constantly monitoring the weather.
